Responsibilities

Position Summary: CTP, Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead organizational change, process transformation, and digital modernization initiatives supporting programs for U.S. and international clients.
This role focuses on the organizational and operational transformation required to successfully implement new technologies and modern digital processes. The Senior Project Manager will work with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure modernization initiatives result in real operational improvements, user adoption, and long-term sustainability.


This position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, organizational change management, and digital transformation experience in complex environments.

 

Travel to the Caribbean region will likely be required.

 

Role Overview


The Senior Project Manager will lead organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, program governance, and digital process transformation across complex modernization initiatives.

 

This role serves as the bridge between executive stakeholders, operational organizations, and technical delivery teams to ensure modernization efforts are successfully adopted and integrated into organizational operations.

 

Success in this role will be measured by organizational adoption, operational improvements, stakeholder alignment, and successful program execution.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Organizational Change Management

• Lead change management strategies for organizations transitioning to new digital systems and processes
• Develop communication plans, training strategies, adoption metrics, and transition roadmaps
• Help organizations redesign business processes to align with modern digital workflows

 

Digital Transformation & Process Improvement
• Map current workflows and identify process improvement opportunities
• Support transition from manual or legacy processes to digital workflows and integrated systems
• Ensure new systems are supported by updated policies, procedures, and governance processes

 

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
• Interface with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Facilitate governance meetings, program reviews, and decision forums
• Align stakeholders across multiple organizations and teams

 

Program Governance & PMO Leadership
• Establish and manage PMO processes including schedule, risks, change management, and reporting
• Maintain structured governance, decision authority, and escalation processes

 

Technical & Operational Integration
• Ensure coordination between technical teams and operational users
• Support requirements development, user adoption, and operational integration

 

Workforce Transition & Sustainment
• Support training, knowledge transfer, and workforce transition planning
• Help clients build long-term capability to operate and sustain systems

 

Partner & Subcontractor Coordination
• Coordinate subcontractors and partners to ensure unified program execution

 

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

 

The ideal candidate understands that technology projects succeed or fail based on organizational adoption, stakeholder alignment, and process transformation — not just technical delivery.

You are comfortable working with executives, operators, and technical teams and can guide organizations through complex change and modernization efforts.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• 12+ years of project or program management experience
• Experience leading organizational change management or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience working with government, public sector, or large enterprise organizations
• Executive stakeholder management experience
• Experience implementing new systems requiring organizational adoption and process change
• Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder programs
• Experience managing subcontractors or distributed teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
• Change Management certification (Prosci, CCMP, etc.)
• Experience supporting digital modernization or enterprise transformation programs
• Experience establishing PMOs or governance structures for large programs

 

 

Location

Preferred that candidate will be located in the Washington DC area with remote work possible. Travel to Caribbean region required.

Compensation

Salary range based upon experience, but this is a senior level role.
